Worst experience on an all inclusive, first calling you like crazy for about 5 days previous our arrival, just to confirm that we will be arriving, even after previously agreed on no cancelation policy, if you arrive on car, be aware, they even leave your car on a public parking lot outside the hotel, so you think the all inclusive had an average decent food, wrong, It was aweful, pool was closed because of new year event, room with broken phone, maids does not respect the don't disturb signs at all, place is old, 4 days for about Thousand usd, worst deal ever, whatever you do don't book on this place

We stayed at Tesoro Manzanillo a while back and we had our room robbed within an hour of arriving. We checked in, went down to the pool, then I went back to our room to grab something no more than an hour after we checked in and multiple cell phones and jewelry had been stolen. No, it wasn't in the safe, which is a mistake I'll never repeat. However, the hotel staff was not helpful in the slightest. According to Tesoro Manzanillo, no one had accessed our room (and the lock wasn't broken) and, in the end, despite the police getting involved, the hotel did absolutely nothing to help us. We checked out that day and got a refund, but we never recovered any of our stolen items. The hotel had zero interest in helping, and we never heard from them again. Obviously, I would never go back, would not recommend this hotel, and the fact that the door lock was intact and that the hotel says the room was never accessed is highly suspicious... especially considering we were there less than an hour before being robbed.

I booked months in advanced, traveled from California along with 12 family members. Didn't get checked in till 5pm and one of the rooms was still unsensitized, beds undone from prior stay and another room completely out of towels which no one ever came to give us any. I payed for 4 rooms, traveled from out of the country this was a very unfortunate experience for my family and I. Front desk was trying their best to accommodate my family and I but to be honest "my money my time". This place is in an AMAZING location beach was clear and warm, food was great, drinks were great, pool was great.

I had an a good time but it was not what I expected. The hotel is old, so do not expect great amenities. The food was no good for my standards. However, the rooms were clean.

Travelled from Canada. On arrival they did not have our reservation, was hard to find any assistance with English speaking staff. Had a not so wonderful experience with Martha, she was rather unprofessional and not personable at all for being the front desk manager. The hotels amenities and locations of restaurants were not very clearly explained due to language barrier. There is no free wifi but there is wifi in the lobby you pay per session (75 pesos). My dad who was coming onto the premises as a visitor was denied to buy a day pass (although they offer them & it was on a weekday). when he finally was allowed to purchase the price went from 450 to 850 to 1100 pesos. He wasn’t even allowed to enter the resort to simply sit in our room. Was absolutely ridiculous. Rooms are ok.. just your standard hotel. The food was pretty unappetizing but they do have an ‘eggs your way’ station in the mornings which was wonderful. The chef cooking there was also a great guy very friendly. Housekeeping was ok ladies were very friendly just don’t ask for any bottles of water from front desk as it’s a big deal. Pros are the: the beach is incredible and so are the views from the hotel, the kids pool area is great. Overall would NOT recommend as out of country tourists looking for the true ‘all inclusive feel’ I think this is more of a weekend hub for locals.
