★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spend quite a lot of money to spend here a nice weekend and I'm really disappointed. Without knowing, because they didn't told us before the booking and paying, there's no pool because of construction work, there's also only WiFi in the lobby and restaurant, so no WiFi in the room and even the WiFi in the lobby/ restaurant is only sometimes working, last night for example not at all. The rooms look nice and the beds are comfortable but the bathrooms are just a mess. The toilette is not working, the shower is not waterproof and the water needs way to long to get just warm enough to shower (not even hot)...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was good enough, affordable cost, waitresses and personnel are polite, it was our first time to pass a Christmas Eve in Palenque, we were so satisfied, the hotel is close to the main road that brings you to the Maya ruins, inside of hotel there is a restaurant that I think we can enjoy what we usually eat in north america, if you want to eat local food, you can walk downtown and you will find restaurants that offer local food, during pandemic period, Chiapas was one of the few places with Covid cases, so I think it is a good choice in many terms, cost, culture, food. Don't expect to see big places resorts; I think few days here are good to see and learn about Maya culture

Also there is very little water pressure on the shower.
The building has seismic activity damage, be careful when considering staying at an apparently cheap hotel like Tulijá rather than a 10 usd more expensive holiday Inn or Mission hotels which offers reliability and of course, a decent WiFi service.

It's right on the main road.
But that leads to noise.
And parking is at a premium.
The front desk staff, each and every one of them, were the most discourteous, incompetent people I have ever met in my travels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really bad laundry service. They lost two of my clothes and they only gave me back $30 pesos for "refund". They even didn't care that I had delicate clothing, they washed it without any precaution.

Good restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
Very close to a useful supermarket.
