Lovely stay good location and v polite and helpful staff

Friendly staff and in a great location. You can't beat the price rate. The rooms are very clean and nicer than most hotels I have stayed at in the United States.

Personally I liked it because its an historic building located in the heart of Veracruz. The price is reasonable. As an old building, does not have all the goodies as the new buildings but, has air conditioning and ok service.

Needs to include at least continental breakfast when booking a room. It would be fair service for guest. Though Sanborn's Restaurant / retail is adjacent. Making guest feel like they're spending too much is not making them feel welcome. Also, a vintage look for the hotel and restaurant would be more appropriate. Read this Slim, thanks.

I was there on April 2021, was very comfortable, the service and the room are good. There are many places that you can visit because they are near from the hotel, in fact in the night is beautiful the different kind of events in the main square.

I've been here for 2 days now and not the best experience that I was expecting. Check in was easy but the room was different from that description that they give me. And I have to be here for another 8days. I have to talk to united hotels to see what I can do cuz front desk wasn't helpful. If you'll book this Hotel make sure to call and ask for the room that you booked or you'll get a different one. With no explanation. Windows are really dirty.

I suspect bed bugs I was covered with rash points on my body after only few hours stay The good thing is they quickly disappeared after in few hours /// 05 June 2021: I can assure you that I haven't opened my windows at all during my stay I just pointed out my experience and didn't mean to offend your quality it just happened for few hours and then in half day all the rashes were gone and I am fine now

What I liked about this hotel is definitely the location. Very close to everything in the Centro Historico and Harbour areas, and other areas as well. The staff was very pleasant and attentive, prompt to help. The staff does not speak English . We did not find any of the staff members to speak English which is disappointing, especially for a hotel that is in the center of a touristic area. The building is old and I want to say on the somehow neglected side. The windows in our room were not clean from the inside, never mind the outside. One of the windows was replaced with some sort of white plastic, which did not allowed us to see anything. Although this was a master suite we did not have a mini fridge, the coffee maker was not working, we called to have it replaced which they did, however, they did not provided us with more coffee for the rest of our 10 days there. The night we arrived the shower and sink were clogged we told the front desk about it and they sent the maintenance guy to fixed it. The only problem is that we checked in at 11:30 pm and the maintenance guy had to come to our room and work there until past midnight so we could at least take a shower. They have a restaurant on the second floor. We went to have breakfast; we were not greeted, the hostess was on the phone and ignored us as well as the waitstaff. We waited and finally someone came to "help us" but by then we were on the way out. They seem to keep the inside of the hotel clean, but they need to work more on the inside of the rooms. So next time we will not be staying in that hotel. It is not a 4 star hotel for sure.
