they were very helpful in providing location directions to different restaurants an electronic stores as well as giving my wife a blanket. There's no air conditioning and there's no locks on the patio door but the place is very clean and a very good atmosphere.

Great location With friendly staff. Wouldn’t recommend to eat here. The waiter sucked, I asked for a water and Had to wait forever but other than that my stay was great! Centrally located to downtown lots of great restaurants and shopping Great views to the lake lake is right across the street.

Apears be a lovely hotel with personality and class on the outside. Did not see the rooms though.

The staff at Hotel Villa San Francisco were very accommodating. They are friendly and courteous. The food (breakfast) is very good. A menu of choices is great. I was sitting by the pool having a cocktail and needed a bite. I let the chef surprise me. The enchiladas she prepared were delicious. Authentic Mexican cuisine without extras. The Villa is beautiful. Rooms are clean. However, Some of the rooms could do with a refresh. But, very clean and I enjoyed my stay. Oh, and let's not forget the spa services. I received an amazing massage.

It's a cute and quaint hotel. Breakfast is delicious!! Hospitality is excellent. My only gripe is our hot water went out during my shower but was quickly fixed. Besides that I will definitely stay here again. There's a pool and jacuzzi we have yet to try. Hopefully we'll get in before our departure.

Had an all day meeting with a nice lunch. Enjoyed the grounds and super location.

I actually go here for breakfast after pickleball on Wednesdays. Love the atmosphere, so peaceful, beautifully laid out. it's got to be a sweet place to stay

We stayed here for two nights after the hotel we originally booked had a mix up with our reservation. We were given the “Jazz” room. Aesthetic sensibilities aside, the room is poorly maintained. Stains on the sheets, tattered towels, and mold on the walls in the bathroom. There are holes in the screens so mosquitos flooded the bathroom and our room during the night. Our first night, the water in the toilet and sink was running orange/brown. When we alerted the front desk, we were told “this had been an issue in Chapala for 7 years” and that it was normal. No offer of maintenance or switching rooms. The next day we visited restaurants and a spa, all of which had no water issues. When we confronted the receptionist about it he then switched up the story, saying it was a temporary maintenance issue that he “had just checked a few minutes ago” and was resolved. You could not pay us to stay here again.
