★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quiet hotel but 4km drive to archeology as you can't go through the resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware there is a scam going on when you pass outside by car. They will claim that it s the official parking of Chichen Itzen and that there are works on the road so you have to park there. Thankfully we left and came directly to the sight. In general there are a lot of scams in the area

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beds were awful. Barely any sleep. It's too bad because it's a beautiful hotel and great food and service. Oh and the toilet paper holder broke in the bathroom and cut and bruised my ankle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location near Chichen Itza. Beautiful pool and dining area. Adequate accommodations. But my biggest complaints were very poor internet access, no mini-fridge or ice machine available, and an electronic safe that didn’t work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is quite quaint ? well priced and located only a few miles from the chichen itza ruins. It comes with breakfast included. The hotel itself is very traditional in style & service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Villas Arqueologicas are a calm and welcoming oasis, (or should that be cenote?) of rest and tranquility away from the heat of Chichén-Itzá. The central courtyard and pool are peaceful, with well kept gardens and Bougainvillea clad balconies. There are plenty of cool spaces out of the sun. We arrived mid afternoon and stayed overnight to hit Chichén-Itzá first thing the next morning. Dinner was good and plenty of local dishes served. The pool is a good size and child friendly.
Bohemia, Modello, and Sol available at the bar as well as a food array of spirits.
Rooms are air conditioned and were quiet. A suite was perfect for two adults and two children offering security and privacy. Free WiFi throughout.
Library and pool room a large welcoming space.
Breakfast from 7am and with a 12 noon check out meant that we were on site for visiting Chichén-Itzá at 8am (when the gates open) and had a good few hours there before returning to freshen up and check out ahead of the mid-day sun.
Reasonable price for an overnight stop in comfort. $2,500 MEX for the suite Inc VAT. Did and drinks paid for separately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing price for what you get, good location.
I loved the authentic design, but the rooms could be too narrow for bigger people.
Kind of a walking distance to the ruins - 40+ kind. Taxi is cheap. Loved the food at the restaurant, a wide selection of dishes.
