My friends met to eat at the rooftop restaurant one night and it was magical! Pictures below from our table at the restaurant.. Negative: Didn't like that it was hard to seal off cracks around door and bathroom to keep out bugs, but it's the tropics. The bed was very firm..

However, parts of the rooms could be improved. Door did not feel overly secure, a/c and fans could be quieter, and some exposed wear and tear. Overall a great choice if you plan to spend most of your time at the beach.

Air condioning was also great.. Negative: The toilet wasn't working when I arrived, even after bringing this up to the person at the front desk nothing was done to fix it, I ended up fixing it myself. They state that they have airport shuttle but they do not, they are just located by a taxi stand that will grossly overcharge you and the men will make inappropriate comments about you if you are a woman and they think you don't understand what they are saying..

Maybe when it originally opened, however, once you enter it smells old, musty and like sewage water. Nothing looks like it's being kept up with. There was never anyone at reception, they give you numbers to be able to contact someone if someone isn't there, but no one ever picked up...tried multiple times at different times of the day. The sheets were disgusting, didn't even smell like anyone washed them.
