★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent prices, great staff and friendly, outdated hotel but very clean and great location. Right on the malecón. Room had a beautiful ocean view right outside our door. Must call to make reservations. Highly recommend. Bed not to comfy but clean rooms!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not a 5 star hotel, but it will serve its purpose. We didn't encounter no rats or bugs as someone posted on a previous post. We stayed in room 321. It was a nice weather just a little to much humidity so the kids really enjoyed the A/c and pools.. I wish they would have a microwave at least and better pillows. Careful wearing high heels as the ground has tile and can easily slip. The staff was friendly. Very convenient spot as there is restaurants and convenient store walking distance. There is a night life on the strip (MALECÓN) so if you drink you don't need to drive. You can access the beach but it's not te relaxing area to sit and chill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room was clean and affordable. Check in fast and friendly. Great price for ocean view room. Aging building but a great value. Quiet A/C w/remote. Good Tv ( some in English), wifi good. Good food at the restaurant with great service. A tad pricey. Pool clean but a bit chilly (it was November). Great location to be near the fun shopping district with parks, live music, vendors and tons of nice restaurants/bars within blocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view of the sea is beautiful! The weather wonderful, little town enjoyable, pretty beach. Food was good, maybe too American. Haven’t been there in a while but rooms so very run down. Checked out early due to combination of rats swimming in the pool at night and walls covered in bugs when I turned on the light at 2 am for bathroom trip. Nobody else has mentioned this in reviews, which I find very strange. Do most people accept that as normal?! They were not the least bit sympathetic to the complaint either. Wondering if spending more would change that, really want to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel itself was awesome .. room service brought us beer and cigarettes in the middle of they night and food.
However we went out to the beach around 2am and got robbed by the police..
One of the cops said they leave us alone if we gave them money for a cup of coffee.
I gave one of them 20 bucks and he told me his buddy drinks coffee too.
The hotel was nice though stay inside after dark.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let’s start with the positive. First and main reason i got this hotel was because of LOCATION it’s literally 100ft from the boardwalk (malecón) and in some rooms you get ocean view! Customer service was great had an issue with my light fixture and got a better room w beach view at no extra cost! Cleaning people do a good job too. The restaurant was “basic” but good if you don’t feel like walking or driving somewhere else (you also have a view on the patio of restaurant) now for the cons… the place looks old and rusty (due to being infront of the beach ik) could use some remodeling rooms look super outdated, my shower head was so bad it felt like a bad sprinkler also the room at night gets cold so ask or bring blankets! Wifi is not reliable at all keeps shutting off every 2-3 mins and yes you can hear everything at night…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is key right? This hotel sits at the end of the malecon. Walk around the corner and you're where all the action is.
This is a very family friendly hotel with kids in the pool, jacuzzi, and other small pool that may have been designated for kids or adults.
They have a swim up bar. Kids there too. The cocktails on the menu were typical vacation drinks but these were super weak and very sugary. We asked for extra shots and bartender was still stingy with free-pour.
We didn't eat at the restaurant. There are so many other good restaurants, steps away, with higher turnover that have lots more patrons.
Not so good things... room was dirty. Long strands of hair on the floor and in the sink. Gross. Hot water in shower fades in and out & very little pressure. Bed and pillows hard as a rock. Just like the Flintstones.
Did I mention location? Great spot.
