Hotel y Bungalows Playa Dorada - 48850 Punta Perula

Stayed at a bungalow which I found very old and dirty which needed maintenance. Staff was very rude especially a man who called himself the owner who was super rude with the two ladies in the reception lobby. Went to the plaza to find out from locals that it’s not the first time he’s rude to guests and people are frequently mistreated by that old man! Worst experience ever with a hotel if you could even call it that!! Furthermore the pool was disgusting and super dirty and in the 4 days I was there not one day did they clean it! DISGUSTING!

3 time me an my wife staying in this place and first they don’t asking what room you prefer she just trout you whatever they want. Good location. But the beds are ugly. Toilet no water. Please this is for the owner change the beds because you loosing costumers I hope went I back next they a good bed

If it were up to me I’d give it 0 stars I really do believe it was my worst experience. Not that I was expecting much from a 3 star hotel but I was expecting the the most common of services. Went with my family and rented 10 bungalows and junior suites and were still mistreated by the apparent owner and receptionist ladies who were all quick to insult us . So I quicky asked for a cancellation but were quick to to apologize and deny it. Eventhough we brought a great deal of business they still couldn’t cope with the fact that we were paying customers that shouldn’t be mistreated! The hotel itself was bad and everything about it was uncomfortable. Many people like myself are drawn to this hotel because it appears to be the nicest but don’t be fooled!! I am very displeased with the hotel and service especially the so called owner. Next time there won’t be a next time. I heard there’s a newer and better one soon to open that will hopefully have greater service!

Awesome place very clean. One suggestion I would make to the proprietor is to relocate/remove the bird cage in the middle of the court yard, they are too loud and they start making noise waaaaaay too early

The place is nice but expensive, rooms are too small and bathrooms have a opening to the room wich makes it uncomfortable to use. Elevator is noisy and they allow guest to party until early in the morning. Clerk is not a polite person. They wont show the rooms in advance for obvious reazons. The only thing I apreciated was the beach access.

Such a nice, cute hidden gem in this small beach town! Very reasonably priced, clean and very well kept. There are plenty of tables, chairs and hammocks on the property. There are parrots in a giant enclosure which is cool! They even have an elevator that came in handy bringing the suitcases in! We would definitely stay here again!

Very bare bones room. Small bathroom. Pool area is nice. Birds in cage very noisy.

The rooms were ugly and dark. We switched rooms because they said they were a little better and they were worse! The rooms smelled like something was rotting. As bad as those rooms were the staff was strict with returning towels, remotes, and bracelets!! We rented for 3 nights but got our money back and went somewhere else. It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever been to.
