 I was not only there for a few hours, very nice, there were no people! There are many places to stay, but expensive!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap accomodation in an undautfully non-engineered building with plenty of narrow steps but with really nice owners managing it. There is almost no parking (only 3 spaces for 10 our 12 bedrooms). Lots of mosquitos and no screens or air conditioning. The location it is a bit noise with a pub and the main road right outside.
For MX$300 more per night you can stay at a quieter place with a pool and lots of parking.
The beds are comfortable, the premises are clean and the supply drinking water, coffee, tea and ice.
Three location is right if you want to visit las posas or the near by cave

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, but I was forced to park a few blocks away in a vacant lot. Everything was fine until a dispute involving overpayment turned into the owner holding me hostage (preventing g me from leaving by blocking me in- saying I could not leave unless I told booking dot com that I had lied about being overcharged). That was resolved when a friend I had made in town showed up with some friends and "diffused the situation", and the owner let me leave after almost an hour of being blocked in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was super happy with my stay in this place. The owners really went the extra mile to make sure that i am happy with my stay. The room was big with a little balcony, a kitchen and a bathroom. Everything was super clean and in good condition. The bed was huge and super comfy and it was quiet at night too. There are a few good and cheap restaurants just around the corner as well as a little store with everything you need during a short stay. The surrealistic castle is just 5min away. I highly recommend to get an english guide, which is 25 pesos more expensive as the group usually is way smaller ✌️ I will definitely come back, when i am in Xilitla again ?
