Hotel with much noise in night. We stay for 4 days. The service is great, the room is small but cute. All the necessary for sleep. Close to zocalo and many museums of interest to know it the Mexican culture.

Very worth it for the price. It often has hot water and wifi, though never both at the same time it seems. However, the location is amazing (literally across the street from the National Palace) and the service is wonderful. The folks at the front desk were helpful, friendly and all speak English. Clean(ish) and basic, but excellent for location and price.

Small hotel in the center of Mexico. Not bad location, 7 min walk to Maya museum, 4 min to catholic cathedral, 15 min to bars and cafes, around 7 min to tour bus stop. It’s so loud outside because of street sales, no chance to sleep till 12pm and after 5am. Rooms are small and dirty, awful bathroom. Breakfast is poor and not tasty at all. No air conditioner, only fan.

The noisiest hotel ever. They make noise 24/7. It's unbearable. The elevator looks like a death trap. The rooms smell like dust, they're tiny, there are mosquitos, there's no sun light coming in at all. Breakfast is included but it starts at 8 am when you're already gone to work. And they have a sign that says that it's a family hotel and you should keep it down but there's music playing all day, banging on walls or something and people talking very loudly all the time.

The hotel is a modest place. It was comfortable sleeping there. The shower didn't have hot water. I wasn't provided towels, and had to ask for them. Good hotel if traveling alone or with a friend.

Never again disgusting. The main reason I stayed at Hotel Amigo Zocalo is it was very close to the Zocalo and it offered a shuttle service to and from the airport. This was a total joke, I called the hotel to book the shuttle and they gave me a number to call who it turned out was Amigo tours same company. When I called they could not find my reservation I called the hotel back who gave me the reservation code and they still could not find it after about 11/2 hrs on the phone they finally got it straightened up. When I got to the airport there was a lady there with a sign from Amigos tours, She was waiting for some other people also after about 20 min of waiting there she asked us to follow here with all our bags we walked about ½ a mile and waited there for another 45 minutes for the shuttle. The shuttle was so disorganized they didn’t know if they were coming or going. When we got about a block from the hotel the driver pulled my bags out and I had to walk about a block with everything was very uncomfortable. The rooms in the hotel were disgusting there was blood in my sink, freezing cold water in the shower (no hot water at all), you have to go back to the lobby to get towels as there were no towels in the room, bed mattresses had plastic on them and very thick hard pillows, the window wouldn’t lock, I was worried to leave my things. The walls are like paper thin you can hear people talking in the lobby like you were in the lobby, didn’t sleep at all that night and had to catch an early flight out. Thank god the shuttle was on time and went straight to the airport. Big warning to anyone who is thinking of staying here the pictures on the site is very deceiving.

Only complaint for me was water not hot enough, it was just warm. Everything else was great. Free breakfast with a view on top floor. Great service staff. Near everything, and the metro. And most importantly for me, really fast internet. Great deal for the price.

It was a comfortable stay. They were accommodating to 2 extra family members that tagged along with us. The breakfast was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that we had leave our room key every time we left the building.
