★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved: -the warm water in the pool at 32°C -chef Arturo's hospitality and food. -great service from security and bellboys, from Xochitl in housekeeping and from wait staff at restaurant. -The lounge chairs and hammock. -The concept, decor and music. -The softness of the towels! Needs: -manager needs to be proactive rather than reactive to guest's needs, timing and clear info about villas in reservation process is a must. -drinks are very expensive. -fix the water temperature in showers, it was too hot or too cold. -bigger beds! -AC in the Villa's living room and kitchen area -a treadmill for the hotel ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and service are outstanding. The hotel grounds and adjoining beach are serene. The staff are kind and attentive in a pleasantly understated way. Relatively expensive but still an excellent value. Very relaxing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location, very tasteful rooms, highly attentive staff but probably one of the worst foods we've had in all of Mexico in the most expensive hotel we've stayed at by FAR. We couldn't touch a few of our dishes due to the amount of salt on more than one occasion. Management needs to address this asap as they'll lose custom. They didn't charge for some of the dishes we sent back. Wifi also v unreliable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is no manager on site and zero customer service for problems you have at the hotel. We were told we would have access to a boat after 9pm to go to a nearby island. We only booked a place to go to this island and we paid for their premium cabana. But when we got there they told us we would have to pay $100 for a 5 minute boat ride that usually costs $5. When we called the same manager she said basically it was our problem. The customer service was beyond horrible. We stayed 2 nights and they didn't even clean our rooms, but they did try to tack on lots of "extras" onto our final bill.
