★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Acudí a realizar compras a la tienda de materias primas que esta a unos metros, al doblar por la esquina nos lanzaron una cubetada de agua desde la ventana, eso se lo pudieron hacer a un niño o a un adulto mayor por la cercanía del parque, no comprendo el descuido o estupidez tan grande de lanzar agua a una banqueta tan transitada, pésimo por el personal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is actually the local community center for 'La Moderna' neighborhood in Benito Juárez borough. These centers are called: 'Casa de Cultura'. I don't like the translation 'House of Culture' because I've never heard anything like that in English. In any case, 'house of modern culture' is a terrible translation. "Moderna", House of Culture would be better. I'd say the correct name is Local Community Center at La Moderna neighborhood.
This neighborhood was named after the eponymous match-maker factory (Cerillera La Moderna), that originally owned and developed the area. The lands were used by the company to provide its workers with affordable housing; later the factory moved and the neighborhood got gentrified but kept its name.
The community center has a small auditorium and offers a wide range of classes as well as artistic and cultural events, some of them created and produced by its neighbors.
