Cuenta con un manantial llamado el dohñe, utilizado como fuente de agua potable. En el barrio de la colonia existe otro manantial que lleva por nombre el zapote, así como otro nominado media luna. Cabe destacar que antes de que entrara el agua potable a la comunidad, los lugareños se abastecían de agua en estos pozos, los cuales en la actualidad aun existen, y son utilizados todavía por gente que gusta degustar del sabor de esta agua cristalina, además que contiene minerales.
Flora y fauna: principalmente: mezquites, capulincillos, pirules, diversas clases de cactus, garambullos. También se pueden encontrar conejos, ardillas, tlacuaches, víboras de diversas especies, lagartijas.
Es muy importante saber que las generaciones pasadas, ya sea por falta de información o por que tenían la necesidad de comer, hacían de las suyas con los animales silvestres, es decir, cualquier persona mataba conejos, liebres, ardillas, pájaros y cuanto animal se le atravesaba en su camino. Pero, ahora las generaciones presentes, tienen aun mas conocimientos a cerca de la naturaleza y la interacción que debe haber con ella con el fin de establecer un balance entre el ser humano y la ecología.
