We stayed here mid May for 4 nights. Rooms were clean however I think some runners in the room would be a huge help. The floors get extremely slick with the humidity if the patio door is open even for 5 min (with a busy toddler this happens with a lot of in and out). Service was outstanding by the pools, especially by Jacqueline. She really took care of us. Eduardo was my husband’s favorite at the pool bar. Our favorites were the breakfast buffet, Habaneros and The Corner. They also had a Mexican culture night while we were there too and that was a delicious dinner. We didn’t care for any of the other dinner options, I don’t know how to explain it other than not much “normal” food. A lot of it was fancier dishes with food we just don’t care for which is why we took advantage of the lunch places open during the day sometimes multiple times a day. There were also nights we looked at the menus before picking our dinner location only to go and have a “special” menu for the night leaving us with no options we liked, servers often couldn’t answer questions about the dishes. They also offer the same kids menu at all the restaurants which is kind of a bummer when it comes to variety. Drinks were fantastic! The beach wasn’t a deal breaker for us traveling with a toddler because we figured we’d be at the pool majority of the time anyways. The one morning we spent at the beach resulted in many bites all over my arms and all over my child’s arms and legs, so be cautious and maybe spray beforehand. I never saw what was biting us but we definitely got bit by something while in the sand. They do offer excursions however the age limit minimum on most of them is 8 years old from what I saw in the pamphlet so we were pretty much stuck at the resort and there wasn’t much to keep him busy other than the pool. I also had a beach side deep tissue massage by Alexis and it was honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had! Overall we had a great trip and if you’re looking for something low key, clean, with great service this would be a great resort! We plan to explore other parts of Mexico on future vacations but will always keep this resort in mind!

Clean resort with workers that go above and beyond. A few notable mentions are: Jacqueline by the pool, Fransisco in the swim up bar, and Antonio. The rooms were updated and cleaned three times a day. Food was always good. The only downside was the seaweed on the beach. However, the resort does a lot to clean it up with machinery. The only downfall of this resort is the beach being rocky and smelling of seaweed. Obviously, there is not much the resort can do for that. The pool staff will make up for it with their unique activities.

We are a family and we are here. The overall service level is excellent. This includes a pleasant check-in (hello Champagne), the staff in the restaurants, housekeeping or entertainment team. They make sure they greet you first when they meet your eyes and almost always have a great smile come with it. The staff is incredible. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and fun. The room is spacious, clean and well maintained. The housekeeping came at least twice a day. The facilities are also pretty clean and have many areas that will suit everyone’s needs. We tried restaurants and they are all pretty decent. Food quality and variety are outstanding. The resort made the Covid testing as easy as possible and took care of everything. The most disappointing part was the beach that has lots of seaweed and was rocky going out, therefore, we couldn't swim. It was frustrating because one of the main reasons we came here was to swim in the sea, unfortunately, we couldn't do it.

The Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating! The rooms and housekeeping staff were great. For an all-inclusive, the food was very good and the evening entertainment was great and inclusive for kids and adults. The beach was small but intimate and thy were doing their best to keep it clear of seaweed. The only negative I had was lack of acknowledgment of Hyatt status. In my opinion it was a complete lack of acknowledgment of Globalist status in that no room upgrades were given, even though there was availability. Also, not even a acknowledgment at check-in. If I didn’t have any status and thus the expectations of what that entails, I would have given this a 5 star review.

A group of us stayed here over an extended weekend. The hotel is not within the hotel zone and is a bit out of the way. We did rent a car so in and out of the hotel is easy. But it could be a hassle to stay here without a car unless the intention is to stay in the hotel without going out. The overall service level is better than expected. This includes a pleasant check-in (hello Champagne), the staff in the restaurants, housekeeping or entertainment team. They make sure they greet you first when they meet your eyes and almost always have a great smile come with it. The room is spacious and well maintained. The housekeeping came at least twice a day. The facilities are also pretty clean and have many areas that will suit everyone’s need. We tried all restaurants and they are all pretty decent. The most disappointed part is probably the special drinks in each specialty restaurant. Those are pretty water down juices. They did make up with the alcohol cart which provides much more decent drinks. Due to the pandemic, each specialty restaurant has different hours. Too bad the schedule is not something provided by management on a daily basis. The entertainment schedule is also not widely available. It would be nice to have a daily schedule handy so people can plan ahead. Finally, for some reason, the room is very humid even though it rained only one day when we were there. It would be nice to have a humidifier. Overall, i enjoyed the stayed. I think it is great get away for a group of friends or family who plan to stay in the resort the entire duration.

Let me start off by saying l just got home yesterday from a mini vacation with my husband and felt compelled to write this review asap! From the moment we arrived at the Hotel and were greeted by Luis, I knew it was going to be a great trip! The location is amazing, it wasn't as busy as the main area of Cancun, so if your going for a romantic vacation with your significant other, or even with your children its a great location. The buffet breakfast was amazing and great selection. The only downside was the beach wasn't that great but the rest of the qualities/amenities outweighed that. I can't THANK ALL the staff at the Hotel enough! Luis who greeted us, to Francisco and David at the main bar right at the bottom to ALL the Staff. Definitely worth every penny and more! This is by far the best vacation l have been on and best people l have EVER met! I have travelled many places before in my lifetime, but the Hotel staff, unbelievably welcoming, and pleasant, it felt like they LOVED what they did! So l want to extend a BIG THANK YOU to all the staff and ill see you soon!

I can't say enough great things about this resort. The staff is AMAZING...they are so friendly and will go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your stay. All the food is delicious...this includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pools are so nice and clean. Everything is clean!! The housekeeping service is wonderful...room is always perfect. The entertainment is different every night and fantastic. My family just loved everything about this resort and we cannot wait to come back next year. I still can't get over how wonderful the staff is....beautiful experience.

Hands down, the best all-inclusive experience ever! I have never felt so welcome by all during my entire stay. The food, drinks and service was absolutely incredible. We stayed at the other Hyatt Ziva Cancun last time and this one was far better except for the beach. There is too much seaweed to actually get in the ocean so we were bummed that we had to stick to the pools all week. Our favorite restaurant was the Japanese one but all of them were good. We loved the fresh crepes and fresh squeezed orange juice at the breakfast buffet too! We brought our kids, ages 15, 12 and 8. They thoroughly enjoyed all the shows and fun activities. The water slides are a bit slow except for 1 of them but all 3 of our kids kept wanting to return to them each day. It's evident that their employees are happy as they go above and beyond for you at all times. This is not a party hotel...the vibe is very classy and chill. Nothing was crowded and we never had any trouble getting into each restaurant.
