Iberostar Selection Paraíso Lindo - 77710 Riviera Maya

The rooms were decent. Some, not all, but some employees really need to smile a little. Good location but the seaweed was overwhelming. Front Desk, and hotel staff were great. Wish they offered a better room rather in a dark corner. Not a fan that the pool closes at 6pm during the week. People want to relax more after dinner. It should close at 10pm like most other hotels.

So first off the place is beautiful and the people were all fantastic. The entertainment staff really do a great job of engaging everyone and making it super fun. We especially loved Luis and Franco and our bartender in the pool bar all week Miguel. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because the room is kind of falling apart. Our shower head broke the first day requiring us to hold the wand over our heads and it was not fixed when we left 6 days later (after telling people 3 days in a row) Overall great experience and would definitely come back.

Our second time at this resort and we will be back. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained and well-lit at night with tons of security. The staff are all very friendly. The food is great. The selection of pools, including a lazy river and wave pool, are amazing. We also were a group of 8 people and a few of us tested positive for covid and could not return home on our scheduled date. The resort put us up for more than 10 additional days for free while we had to quarantine. They delivered us food and did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They really went above and beyond. We highly recommend this place.

Not the best rooms, small, maybe one of the worst showers ever, but we were not there for the room so it was fine. Kids loved, i mean loved the water slides, pools were nice too. The beach was awesome, calm, clean, perfect sand, we loved playing volleyball and went swimming in the ocean a lot. Kids also got to try scuba in the pool. Food was above average which we enjoyed. One big negative was they were not flexible on where and when you ate diner. We had to get reservations first hour we arrived and we still had to eat at 8.30 or 9 pm every night at the restaurants they picked for us. Covid test processes was smooth so they get ? for that. We took a tour to Mayan ruins which was fun but long and very much a tourist trap.

Laura our concierge was amazing! She was so very helpful in so many ways. All the staff is friendly and helpful. The entire resort is very clean and beautiful! The New Years Eve dinner was so good and so elegant and the party at midnight was so much fun. Nelson and Moises gave us excellent service at the Laguna Buffet tonight. Very pleasant and attentive! The food was very good and a wonderful variety. Our only complaint was the food at the buffet was cold.

This was our first trip out of the country since spring of 2019. We had stayed at a number of other all-inclusive resorts prior in Mexico and the D.R. I was impressed by the variety and quality of food. I had swordfish at the Italian restaurant one night - it was phenomenal. Even if you didn’t want to do a sit-down served dinner, you could do the buffet and find great quality and tasty food . The staff was extremely helpful and incredibly nice. Given the turbulent few years we’ve had, they did an excellent job with maintaining cleanliness and working with guests. We had an issue with our bathroom. The staff attempted to fix the issue, when they weren’t able to fix it they moved us into a new room without issue. The Lindo specifically was a good mix of being able to play different games hosted by the Star Friends staff and ability to lay low. Specifically to this resort chain, I appreciate their “wave of change.” It was nice being given a glass water bottle in the room to use throughout the week with filtered water dispensers throughout the resort. Instead of constantly requesting bottles of water, I was able to get clean water whenever I wanted. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone.

My husband and I booked our honeymoon here. We chose Iberostar for its commitment to the environment and going green! We had an amazing trip. The food selection was great, bartenders friendly, and rooms clean! What makes the trip great for me is the entertainment team, and theirs is awesome!! The shows were super fun, and everyone was so nice. Franco was 100% my favorite!!! He was the best at recruiting people for games, remembering names, and making the games fun! I would come back just for him ?

Honestly, this was an incredible trip for us - and I have the opinions of our 70 person destination wedding backing me up. We decided to get married on 2.22.22 last year, and this was one of the only resorts not blocking out those dates due to the holiday weekend. Our coordinator was incredibly patient with my millions of questions and was very thorough - even going as far as printing off our conversations so she could reference them at our in-person meeting to review all the details. Every single thing went off without a hitch: location - gorgeous, setup - perfection, their DJ services - hilariously upbeat, and the food - well let's just say I was disappointed I didn't think to grab a second plate. We did bring our own photographer so I can't speak to their services there, but the resort was very easy to work with in bringing our own. The rooms were all very cozy and welcoming - no lack of towels and the concierge was quick to give us whatever we asked for: more hangers, a different hairdryer, etc. The buffet was incredible - to the point where we regretted making reservations at the restaurants! All the servers were gracious and always looking for ways to make your day better. And even our photographer kept commenting on how gorgeous the whole place was - grounds, greenery, architecture, all of it. The only complaints I heard from people were about figuring out the water stations and wishing their AC went lower. So make sure to turn on your fans (circulate that air!) and locate your nearest water station if you're bugged by that stuff. I personally did not have any issues! Would recommend this resort for weddings and for personal visits. I know some of our guests are already planning their return trip.
