★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed for 1 week in this hotel and actually everything was really cool! Staff is friendly and they are available all time. Restaurant is still closed because of coronavirus stuff but you still can order food and they will bring it until your room

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are having a great week at ibis GDL Expo! Staff is so nice, management has been helpful with special requests and incoming packages. Very central for all of our video sites in and around GDL. THANKS AGAIN ibis! Always the best value. (And restaurant is open)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are small, staff is good but need improvement in booking process for international travelers and one person could be made available 24 hours who can speak English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Your public areas are very dirty specially the main entrance where everybody goes to smoke, the trash cans at the entrance full, I ask a restaurant server at 7am to take just a moment to clean main entrance, he say is not my job, then I went to the front desk same response, you need someone to clean during the night all this areas, this is by far the dirtiest Ibis Hotel I been and trust me I been in one too many.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the room I was assigned, there was serious drain problems in the bathroom - stank. Needs to be sorted out before other guests stay in there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I believe that I paid a fair price for what the hotel is. It is a French hotel company that specializes in a comfortable no frills economic set up. To no surprise it was just that; a comfortable no frills economic experience.
Pros: Right across the street from the Expo for events! Local shopping and dining center “Plaza del Sol” is just around the corner! Pillow top memory foam mattress, A/C, decent shower pressure, hair dryer, Spanish cable television, free wifi, and secure free parking!
Cons: only 2 electrical outlets in room, rooms are REALLY for 2 people max.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was a mess. The room door was open on arrival. The beds were not done. The bathroom towels were all on the floor. I tried calling the receptionist for 20 mins, and no answer. BTW. My credit card was charged for the services. Not cool

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon check in no towels in the room. Floor under the bed was dirty and you can tell it had'nt been swept prior to our check in. Lots of dust, a couple of coins and a coffee holder all stayed there even after our 6 night stay and Approx 4 housekeeping services.
Keys stopped working on 3 or 4 occasions and had to go to front desk for a reset, I mentioned to the staff who seemed rather uninterested and all they did was reset my key and tell me that something I did may have cause the problem, my phone, a security gate at a mall etc. on one occasion I left the key in the car away from my phone and still it stopped working.
The staff at breakfast are just there, not really trying to be friendly they are just doing a job by being there.
Coffee is terrible, the one from the kettle, bad taste and warm not hot, this was every day. I understand that Ibis is an economy brand but if you offer the basic the basics need to be done right, I would walk across the street to the Oxxo where the coffee was much much better. Coffee station is missing the basic set up and no to go cups just incase you are on the run.
Not once were we asked how our stay was. Not even at check out. Again no basic hospitality training. Everything just very transactional.
