Such a good experience this time. I travel often using IBIS hotels and this time, coming to the room and finding some chocolates and a water bottle was a nice surprise. Room was squeaky clean and new, and personnel was always friendly. Definitely recommend for accommodation on the cheap with good value.

To keep this short I don't recommend staying at this hotel at all for your own safety! The first night was okay second night we received a phone call from an unknown number that tried to exort us, kidnapped, or even kill us. The information they had was information that only the hotel was provided, down to reservation site. We couldn't sleep all night they had us all night being threatened, recorded, and brainwashed until morning we were told to take the hotels taxi, instead we fled with minimal stuff. Met with relatives an went back to gather our stuff later with more family, at this time we talked to the general manager to which he said "its unfortunate it happened" but what's crazy is he gave a few clues about the phone call we received without telling him an without looking at a computer screen, unfortunately we can't even write a police report because this is Mexico there's no justice. We don't want anyone to experience what we had to. It was truly literal Hell, Please be careful and don't ignore this review we will always be traumatized by this event!

Nice place. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast is a hearty spread and the staff take the extra effort to understand their customer's needs. One of my colleagues is a strict vegetarian and the kitchen prepared vegetarian meals or noodles especially for him. Language is not a barrier, the staff use translation sites on their phones to communicate if needed.

Only for Spanish speaking guests. This is suppose to be an international hotel chain , but no one in reception speaks English. Had a tough time communicating with them . Like all other Ibis the hotel lives up to standards and service ! Good price for a budgeted and comfortable long stay.

One of the security guards insisted I get the infrared thermometer on my forehead. When I told him not on my head he claimed it was hotel policy. I replied you can take my temperature without touching or pointing at my head, can't you? When I asked to speak to management, he left it alone. Need more common sense staff and not trigger happy robocops. Loud parties at night. If you're a light sleeper might reconsider. Other than those 2 things, value of hotel was adequate.

Not providing drinking water in the room, you will have to purchase same. Rooms are too small.

I have 10 days reservation in this hotel Ibis Tlalnepantla, Mexico, for second time today 2 different persons try to enter into my room , this is unacceptable for security reasons, this is the worst escenario when you are trying to rest and twice different persons with key on hand go into your room. Be careful and lock your door.
