★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar hermoso pero algo desconcertante porque para nuestra sorpresa la cascada no se encuentra en Ichaqueo sino en la comunidad de San Miguel del Monte. Antes de ir a la cascada se debe de pasar a dicho pueblo en la Comandancia para solicitar permiso de ingreso a la reserva ecológica porque la cascada esta rodeada de malla con púas. La comunidad de San Miguel está haciendo un esfuerzo por motivar el ecoturismo.
Por otro lado, si es posible bajar a la casacada, sólo que se debe cruzar el río y estar preparado para resbalarse en el lodo y pasar por senderos angostos.
 A beautiful place but somewhat disconcerting because to our surprise the waterfall is not in Ichaqueo but in the community of San Miguel del Monte. Before going to the waterfall you must go to that town in the Comandancia to request permission to enter the ecological reserve because the waterfall is surrounded by barbed mesh. The San Miguel community is making an effort to motivate ecotourism.
On the other hand, if it is possible to go down to the waterfall, only you have to cross the river and be prepared to slip into the mud and go through narrow paths.
