The House of France is a pleasant and quiet space. It offers an excellent cultural billboard. In the media library you can find materials-resources in French, such as books, magazines, movies and music. Admission to the media library is free, however to take home material you must have an internal registration, for IFAL students registration is free. The hours of the media library are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday and Sunday closed.

We visited this wonderful venue a few years ago to promote French culture. Precisely there we began the dream of this communication medium to share Mexico to the world.

I remember that after returning from France, it was my best space to remember that magnificent country and its people. I love to seclude myself there on open days and hours, explore the extensive material they have, sit in different places, watch and read from the balcony .. the exhibitions, the space, the restaurant was still there and I had to see the ambassador to Mexico eat there ... You can take a walk around this small space and nobody tells you anything, you are free as long as you respect and do not destroy .. .... oh wonderful, I hope they continue to improve and one day that restaurant will open again. ? The opinions that they do not let the neighbors sleep is false, the closest thing to houses is a hotel and the others are businesses and a square, there were some night events and I know they are not noisy and they are very entertaining and good music and they do not last until the dawn At the entrance times you should pay attention, but you can call by phone or go directly and inform the entrance.

An incredible place, perfect to relax and spend hours discovering the cultural heritage they have. Many titles of books and records, internet access, excellent service, they answer any questions and you have to be attentive to the events list, they are usually very interesting and of excellent quality.
