The small temple is consecrated to Our Lady of the Nativity and was built at the beginning of the 17th century and its tower in the 19th century.
This is the only temple, at least in this lake area, that has its cemetery in its atrium, which gives the building a special touch, which is accessed through a small door to cross the atrium wall.
Its façade is very simple and its access is framed by a quarry doorway with a semicircular arch and a double-arched coral window, and on top of it you can see some quarry implants in which I can see a republican eagle, the papal tiara with the keys of Saint Peter, a resplendent triangle and a symbolic crown. I also manage to appreciate a (waning) moon and a sun.
Its interior has a single nave with a continuous barrel with a wooden panel beautifully decorated with white and blue paintings (because of its Marian evocation) and its main altarpiece is in a marked neoclassical style, which tells us that it was placed later.
