★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Refiriéndome a la iglesia que se ubica dentro de la zona arqueológica, enmedio de la palma principal y a unos pasos del hermoso cenote, se construyó obviamente con material de las pirámides y otros edificios que fueron derruidos por los españoles pero ahora luce también en ruinas, se trata sólo del área del presbiterio y sacristía pues el cuerpo del templo era de material caduco como postes y techo de palma.
Referring to the church that is located within the archaeological zone, in the middle of the main palm and a few steps from the beautiful cenote, it was obviously built with material from the pyramids and other buildings that were demolished by the Spaniards but now it also looks in ruins, it it is only about the area of the presbytery and sacristy because the body of the temple was of outdated material such as posts and palm roof.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent about 2 hours on a Friday mid morning, there was a large school group but the area is quite spread out so it wasn’t a problem. Admission was about 227 pesos per adult (Mexican residents are cheaper with id)this price included the Archealogucal site, museum tour and a swim in the cenote pool which we did at the very end afrer walking in the heat!! It was quite refreshing.. bring a towel and a hat
