A very old temple, an important part of the culture and history of Pátzcuaro. The floor is made of wooden planks. The vault of the ceiling is made of wood and the designs on it are appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esta Iglesia es una construcción que data del siglo XVl, es un templo jesuita, en su torre principal alberga un reloj que dicen los locales supuestamente fue desterrado de España por haber marcado una hora infausta a un monarca de aquel País y otros dicen que fue un regalo del Rey Felipe ll.
This Church is a construction dating from the fifteenth century, it is a Jesuit temple, in its main tower it houses a clock that the locals allegedly were banished from Spain for having marked an unfortunate hour for a monarch of that country and others say it was a gift of King Felipe ll.
