Su interior en el sotocoro a la derecha abajo, la venerada imagen y hermosa escultura del Señor de los Trabajos, de ignota procedencia, solo consta que "A. M. Fecit 1756", la cruz, la corona, los clavos y los casquillos datan de 1970. De las bóvedas cuelgan treinta candiles de cristal de Bacará. Bajo el piso del templo y de la sacristía se tienden las amplias criptas, las más grandes de todas las de la ciudad.
