La pila bautismal que alguna vez perteneció al convento de la Natividad de María, fundado por la Provincia del Santo Evangelio del siglo XVI, es tal vez el elemento más valioso que queda. Se ubica en la iglesia de San José, en la congregación de Zimpizahua, municipio de Coatepec. Una sobresaliente joya del arte tequitqui elaborada en los primeros años de la evangelización, con iconografía mesoamericana y alegorías florales.
El ex convento fue demolido y en su lugar se construyó el parque Juárez de Xalapa.
 San José Church
The baptismal font that once belonged to the Convent of the Nativity of Mary, founded by the 16th-century Province of the Holy Gospel, is perhaps the most valuable item left. It is located in the church of San José, in the congregation of Zimpizahua, municipality of Coatepec. An outstanding jewel of tequitqui art made in the early years of evangelization, with Mesoamerican iconography and floral allegories.
The former convent was demolished and the Juárez de Xalapa park was built in its place.
