★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dentro de la parroquia de San Juan Xiuhtetelco, se encuentra la pila bautismal más antigua de la Arquidiócesis de Xalapa, joya del arte tequitqui elaborada en los primeros años de la evangelización, aproximadamente en 1526; se pueden observar elementos de iconografía mesoamericana, correspondientes a la verdad y plenitud; la flor de cuatro pétalos, como símbolo de la verdad, raíz y alegorías florales, así como el Anagrama de Cristo con la Cruz Tau Franciscana.
Within the parish of San Juan Xiuhtetelco, there is the oldest baptismal font in the Archdiocese of Xalapa, a jewel of Tequitqui art elaborated in the first years of evangelization, approximately in 1526; elements of Mesoamerican iconography can be observed, corresponding to the truth and fullness; the flower of four petals, as a symbol of truth, root and floral allegories, as well as the Anagram of Christ with the Franciscan Tau Cross.
