★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ayer sábado hubo una plática con motivo de las fiestas patronales del poblado. Este legar tiene una historia de más de 3000 años según nos comentó el Historiador Misael Chavoya Cruz, quien ha tomado como línea de investigación a Yucuita y los pueblos vecinos de la Mixteca Alta en Oaxaca.
Así mismo nos comentó de la existencia de grupos humanos en la época prehispánica, llegando a tener un mercado importante de la zona, fueron sometidos por los mexicas y pagaban tributos.
La iglesia se Yucuita debe de ser del siglo XVIII, ha tenido varios problemas por los temblores y perdió sus dos torres, sólo una fué restaurada y actualmente permanece y sirve para replicar la campana.
Ha tenido varias restauraciones la última fue la impermeabilización de su techo que ya estaba filtrando el agua de lluvia.
