"La Iglesia abandonada de Seyba Cabecera-Campeche" Un antiguo templo posiblemente de la orden Fransicana que formo parte de la urbe de *Seyba Cabecera* Una población que se formó a raíz de los ataques de los piratas a la comunidad de Seybaplaya. Narran las historias que un grupo de resistentes españoles por sus seguridad se introdujeron tierra adentro y se asentaron en Sihochac, Hool y fundaron "Seyba Cabecera" por el año aproximado de 1682 donde ya existía desde hace cientos de años población local (población Maya). Para el año de 1790 Seyba Cabecera contaba con una población de 624 hombres y 593 mujeres que hacían un total de 1217 habitantes que en su mayoria se dedicaban a la agricultura. En el censo de 1852, Seyba Cabecera contaba con 329 habitantes; este drástico decremento de la población fue causado por el azote de la cólera morbus en aquella época y más tarde entre Abril y Agosto de 1915 ocurrió un feroz brote de viruela negra que terminó de diezmar a la población restante. Quienes sobrevivieron decidieron emigrar hacia la costa de vuelta a la comunidad de Seybaplaya dejando en ruinas el enorme poblado del cual apenas y existen vestigios de las casas de aquellos moradores que fundaron este sitio. Actualmente este sitio es un poblado fantasma que evoca leyendas y cuentos entre los pobladores locales, situada a 16 kilómetros de Seybaplaya sobre la carretera a Xkeulil-Hobomó a un lado de la carretera. Sitio donde el INAH habría intervenido en 2014 pero según algunas fuentes se investiga el mal procedimiento de la institución la cual según algunos medios locales de Campeche habría causado el deterioro del sitio y la desaparición de objetos antiguos de los cuales se les habría perdido el rastro; muchos de ellos provenientes de osarios profanados (Presunta situación de corrupción no comprobada). Por último y cómo dato interesante se dice que se aparecen fantasmas y ocurren sucesos paranormales en el sitio debido a que en sus áreas aledañas y cerros se ocultan tesoros.
