La Iglesia del Nazareno se compone de aquellas personas que voluntariamente se han asociado de acuerdo con las doctrinas y gobierno de dicha iglesia, y que buscan la santa comunión cristiana, la conversión de los pecadores, la entera santificación de los creyentes, su edificación en la santidad y la simplicidad y poder espiritual manifestados en la iglesia primitiva del Nuevo Testamento, junto con la predicación del evangelio a toda criatura.
La Iglesia del Nazareno existe con el propósito de servir como instrumento para el avance del reino de Dios mediante la predicación y la enseñanza del evangelio en todo el mundo. Nuestra comisión bien definida consiste en preservar y propagar la santidad cristiana como la establecen las Escrituras, por medio de la conversión de los pecadores, la restauración de los apóstatas y la entera santificación de los creyentes.
ORIGEN Y PROPÓSITO DE LA REGIÓN
Con el crecimiento de la iglesia en todo el mundo, se ha desarrollado la agrupación de varios distritos organizados en áreas geográficas identificadas como regiones.

The Church of the Nazarene is composed of those people who have voluntarily associated in accordance with the doctrines and government of that church, and who seek holy Christian communion, the conversion of sinners, the entire sanctification of believers, their edification in the holiness and spiritual simplicity and power manifested in the early New Testament church, along with the preaching of the gospel to every creature.
The Church of the Nazarene exists with the purpose of serving as an instrument for the advancement of the kingdom of God through preaching and teaching the gospel throughout the world. Our well-defined commission consists in preserving and propagating Christian holiness as established in the Scriptures, through the conversion of sinners, the restoration of apostates and the entire sanctification of believers.
ORIGIN AND PURPOSE OF THE REGION
With the growth of the church throughout the world, the grouping of several organized districts in geographic areas identified as regions has developed.
