★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Este templo es el principal y más grande (en tamaño) de Montemorelos, no es precisamente la iglesia parroquial, pero por su tamaño, funge como tal. Está muy bien conservada y restaurada, la ubicación es excelente frente a la plaza principal y la Presidencia Municipal.
Bien merece la pena visitarla y admirar su arquitectura, pinturas y otras obras artísticas. Está dedicada al Sagrado Corazón, aunque la Parroquia es San Mateo del Pilón.
This temple is the main and largest (in size) of Montemorelos, it is not exactly the parish church, but due to its size, it serves as such. It is very well preserved and restored, the location is excellent in front of the main square and the Municipal Presidency.
It is well worth visiting and admiring its architecture, paintings and other artistic works. It is dedicated to the Sacred Heart, although the Parish is San Mateo del Pilón.
