En 1989 el Sr. Cura D. Miguel Enciso Sánchez vio la necesidad de un Templo, en la zona conurbada del Salero, inmediatamente se acondiciono un altar y se invitó a los vecinos para la Celebración de la Eucaristía. El terreno fue donado por el Sr. Juan Guillermo Zesati, se gestionó en el Obispado la construcción y se comisiono al Sr. Sergio Guardado Ramos como Promotor de la Obra. Rápidamente se levanto el muro del fondo del presbiterio para recibir a la “Preladita”. Después, se celebró la Fiesta del “Divino Maestro” el día de “Cristo Rey”,
En 1991, la fiesta se cambió para el último domingo de octubre, al siguiente año se entregó la imagen de Jesús “El Divino Maestro” que fue esculpida en madera y estofada en oro, misma que fue traída en romería desde la Parroquia de Loreto hasta su Templo. En 1994, se tuvo la dicha de la visita de la Virgen de Zapopán, donde se celebró la Eucaristía de despedida en su peregrinar por la ciudad.
En 1996 termina la construcción y se realiza la consagración del Templo, nueve años después se erige la Parroquia de la Medalla Milagrosa, y desde entonces el Templo del “Divino Maestro” forma parte de ella. Nuestra comunidad se honró en celebrar el XXV Aniversario de la Fundación del Templo, llenos de fe y alegría celebramos esta conmemoración el pasado 26 de Octubre, recordando a los sacerdotes y feligreses que con fe y entrega han difundido la devoción al Divino Maestro, damos gracias a Dios por haber escogido a nuestra comunidad como su rebaño y guiarnos durante este tiempo por el camino de la verdad y la vida, que es Jesús.

In 1989 Mr. Cura D. Miguel Enciso Sánchez saw the need for a Temple, in the conurbation area of Salero, an altar was immediately set up and the neighbors were invited for the Eucharistic Celebration. The land was donated by Mr. Juan Guillermo Zesati, construction was managed in the Bishopric and Mr. Sergio Guardado Ramos was commissioned as Promoter of the Work.
