La iglesia es un punto de reunión para las celebraciones religiosas y los días previos al 04 de octubre, día de San Francisco de Asís, santo patrón del pueblo. Se da de comer y se realiza una feria a la que asisten personas de las comunidades cercanas y familiares de los habitantes que han salido de la comunidad.
Last community of Matlazinca, which is friendly and protects itself from people who try to harm the people. The church is a meeting point for religious celebrations and the days before October 4, the day of Saint Francis of Assisi, patron saint of the town.
