Un pequeño pueblo que se encuentra enclavado en la Sierra de Chiconquiaco, su neblina vespertina y sus casas calentadas con leña forman parte del paisaje cotidiano.
Antiguamente conocido como San Juan Miahuatlán hasta 1899 cuando se fusionan los municipios de San José y San Juan Miahuatlán por decreto.
El 6 de septiembre de 1922 se constituye nuevamente el municipio de San Juan Miahuatlán y es hasta 1932 cuando cambia de nombre para convertirse en Landero y Coss, en honor al ilustre gobernador veracruzano.
Del 14 al 16 de mayo se celebra la fiesta titular en honor de San Isidro Labrador, con una feria.El 24 de junio se realiza la fiesta de San Juan Bautista.
El mole siempre será el atractivo de la gastronomía del pueblo en las fiestas patronales; un pequeño recorrido por los rincones de Veracruz.
 Landero and Coss
A small town that is nestled in the Sierra de Chiconquiaco, its evening mist and its houses heated with firewood are part of the daily landscape.
Formerly known as San Juan Miahuatlán until 1899 when the municipalities of San José and San Juan Miahuatlán merge by decree.
On September 6, 1922, the municipality of San Juan Miahuatlán was constituted again and it was until 1932 when it changed its name to become Landero and Coss, in honor of the illustrious governor of Veracruz.
From May 14 to 16, the titular party is celebrated in honor of San Isidro Labrador, with a fair. On June 24, the feast of San Juan Bautista is held.
