★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La iglesia del pueblo está muy hermosa tiene una explanada donde hacen diferentes eventos y el día de su santo se reviste completamente de puras flores aromáticas y se lleva mariachi para cantarle toda la noche regalan comida y bebida en cada fiesta religiosa y las misas son de una muy increíble oratoria

Posee una capilla del siglo XVI junto a la iglesia principal dedicada al santo patrono San Matías apóstol; cuya festividad se realiza en dos fechas: 24 de febrero y el 14 de mayo. Su atrio es amplio con jardín y bancas alrededor. Posee una cruz atrial que esenifica la pasión de cristo.
La parte de atrás de la iglesia fue un sitio importante utilizado en la época colonial como camino real.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ realmente no es un lugar que cuente con una gran historia ,es uno de los antiguos pueblos que existen en nuestro bello país ,lo que si transporta al pasado, son esos vestigios de construcciones antiguas ,que por fortuna ,aunque descuidados ,siguen en pie como testigos del paso del tiempo ,existe adjunto a la iglesia ,una pequeña capilla en donde aun existe un retablo ,y ese pequeño lugar conserva ese "olor característico " , de esos lugares que han visto el paso de varias generaciones
