★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Iglesia Preciosa Sangre de Cristo es una pequeña iglesia construida en la cima del viejo cementerio de la ciudad de Oaxaca. Fue consagrada en 1689 y fue declarada como su propia parroquia en 1893. La parcela sobre la que iglesia fue construida, siguió siendo utilizada como cementerio hasta mediados del siglo XVII.
La iglesia Preciosa Sangre de Cristo se encuentra a tan solo una cuadra de La Iglesia de Santo Domingo y a cuatro cuadras del Zócalo, por lo que es posible visitarla durante un recorrido por centro de la ciudad.
 The Iglesia Sangre de Cristo is a small church built on top of the old cemetery in the city of Oaxaca. It was consecrated in 1689 and was declared as its own parish in 1893. The plot on which church was built continued to be used as a cemetery until the mid-seventeenth century.
The Preciosa Sangre de Cristo church is located just one block from the Church of Santo Domingo and four blocks from the Zocalo, so it is possible to visit it during a tour of the city center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Desde su fachada se empieza a ver la hermosa sencillez de ésta iglesia, y en su interior, la cual me parece que tiene un estilo minimalista, sus esculturas de santos combina muy bien con su pasillo y sus bancas.
From its facade you can begin to see the beautiful simplicity of this church, and inside, which I think has a minimalist style, its sculptures of saints combine very well with its hallway and its benches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A simple, medium size church located along the walking Alcala Street close to Labastida Park. The church has a plain facade with a kind of an ornate portal and two low bell towers. Inside it's a single nave, no side isles structure with a whitewashed interior decorated with a few color accents. The altar is exceedingly simple, especially when compared to other churches in Oaxaca. The church is free to enter and it was open in late December of 2020
