★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasamos a tomar pulque después de subir el cerro de ahí, Santa Cruz Xochitepec, con una cruz en la cima. Y nos comentó la señora sobre la tradición de la cruz que se hace ahí. Son tres cruces que están en el pueblo. Una está en el cerro. Pasamos a ver la iglesia y ahí tenía otra cruz. La iglesia estaba algo deteriorada y descuidada, me imagino por ser este año 2020, cerrada por la epidemia. Es parroquia y panteón, espero la puedan restaurar y ojalá pueda asistir a la celebración que hacen en mayo y que se pone muy buena por lo que me comentan.

The church was somewhat run down and neglected, I imagine it being this year 2020, closed by the epidemic. It is a parish and a pantheon, I hope they can restore it and hopefully I can attend the celebration that they do in May and that gets very good from what they tell me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La celebración por el día de la Cruz es una hermosa tradición. Lo malo es el uso de pirotecnia en exceso. Ojalá pronto dejen de usar pirotecnia para este tipo de celebraciones. Hay que pensar en los animalitos a los que afectan tanto estas prácticas.
