Fue un escritor, poeta, periodista, abogado, político e ideólogo liberal mexicano. El Nigromante participó en la elaboración de las Leyes de Reforma.
 Juan Ignacio Paulino Ramírez Calzada, known by his journalistic pseudonym “el Nigromante”, was born on June 22, 1818 in San Miguel el Grande, Guanajuato. He was a Mexican writer, poet, journalist, lawyer, politician, and liberal ideologist. The Necromancer participated in the making of the Laws of Reform.
