La cesión otorgada a IPM para administrar y operar la Terminal Multiusos # 2 en el Puerto de Altamira en junio de 1996 obteniendo una extensión de cesión hasta el año 2036.
Desde entonces y a la fecha, IPM está comprometido a convertirse en un operador de clase munidal de terminales y alcanzar los estándares de calidad, servicio y productividad que demandan los clientes.

Infraestructura Portuaria Mexicana S.A. de C.V. (IPM), a subsidiary of PINFRA, was created in response to the Federal Government's initiative for the Privatization of Mexican Ports in 1994.
The assignment granted to IPM to manage and operate Multipurpose Terminal # 2 in the Port of Altamira in June 1996, obtaining an extension of the assignment until 2036.
Since then and to date, IPM is committed to becoming a world-class terminal operator and meeting the quality, service and productivity standards demanded by customers.
