Hace como un año más o menos le dieron mantenimiento a la chimenea principal y hasta la repintaron de blanco pero no duró mucho el tratamiento ya se descarapelo la pintura y se fatal. Cuando procesan la caña local y de lugares vecinos las cenizas de la caña que arrojan las chimeneas llega a todas partes de Calipan y con viento hasta el pueblo vecino Coxcatlán. Utiliza mucha agua y por eso los habitantes de Calipan sufren la escasez de agua en sus casas. I haven't been inside so I can't talk about the inside but recently they've been making some improvements to the fences on the outside. About a year or so ago they gave maintenance to the main fireplace and they even repainted it white but the treatment did not last long and the paint peeled off and was fatal. When they process the local cane and from neighboring places, the ashes of the cane thrown by the chimneys reaches all parts of Calipan and with wind until the neighboring town of Coxcatlán. It uses a lot of water and that is why the inhabitants of Calipan suffer from water shortages in their homes.
