★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ingenio pedernales, ubicado en el mismo pedernales municipio de Tacámbaro Michoacán. Muy bonito lugar, no se diga en tiempo de Zafra (corte de caña) con su olor a la caña de azúcar y su molino a todo lo que da, para obtener esa azúcar que usamos en nuestro día a día.
Ingenio pedernales, located in the same pedernales municipality of Tacámbaro Michoacán. Very nice place, not to mention in Zafra time (cane cutting) with its smell of sugar cane and its mill at all it gives, to obtain that sugar that we use in our day to day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I still don't understand how the communities around pedernales have been exploited by this sugar factory for so many years and it is still in business.
When the people will wake up from this rip off?
Just think for a minute that 300 persons produce a million tons of sugar cane product and there is ONLY one buyer, when the product is ready to process the only buyer which is injenio pedernales wants to pay the price of one peso per ton of product people have to sale it to them, otherwise the farmers must have to eat or waste the product which is the whole year of work and land value to the toilet.
If they ever decide to produce avocados, mango, raspberries or any other product they will have several buyers and huge demand of those products and buyers will compete for the price to pay.
but unfortunately there is still people growing sugar cane.
Insane... but this is the reality.
