INKaholic Tattoo Shop Isla Mujeres - 77400 Isla Mujeres

Just wanted to give people a heads up. I have several tattoos, and brought my daughter in to get matching tattoos tonight at Islaholics. I previously left a deposit, and the woman said a credit card was fine. Tonight we looked at the design. I showed her the color blue, like the water here and she said she couldn't really match it, and made it seem like I was asking for something out of the ordinary. Then my daughter wanted hers on her ankle and she said that's not a good place. We settled on a color, and I asked to see the artists work, he showed me. I also asked where they sterilize the equipment, they said they do not do that, they use disposable needles. I started feeling like this was not a good match for me. I really looked around, no masks and no boxes of gloves that I could see. I used the bathroom, it was disgusting. Then I asked about pricing and payment with my credit card, the woman said- Our machine is not working. I said ok, sorry I can't do it then. I asked her for my deposit back, and as I left in spanish she said I was a big pain. So overall NOT a good experience. PS As you can see by the owners response she is unprofessional and rude, and actually not telling the truth. I did not ask anyone to take off their pants! I made the right decision and clearly she has some anger issues!

If you are in Isla Mulheres and you are looking for a tattoo, this is the spot to go. The place is clean and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I got a beautiful tattoo done by Sone. He is SOOO talented! My husband and I have plans to make Isla Mulheres our regular vacation spot, so I will definitely be back to INKaholic for more tattoos. Please bring cash, because they prefer it to card transactions. I felt bad that I didn’t do this, and I wish I had brought more money to give Sone a bigger tip because he deserved it! I will make up for this next time(:

I had been contemplating getting a tattoo for quite some time but just never went through with it. I’m glad I did! I read a previous review on Facebook from a potential customer that clearly had a skewed view of reality and I felt was a very unfair review. I had been to the INKaholic page previously and had seen prior reviews and photos and decided maybe I should check the shop out for myself… I got in contact with, Saraí, the owner of INKaholic prior to coming to Isla. She was kind enough to chat with me and get an idea for what I might like for my tattoo. When my wife and I got to Isla we stopped in the shop and talked to Saraí and decided to book an appointment for the day before we were leaving the island. The shop is very clean, uses all brand new needles, wears gloves, etc. Saraí’s staff is nice and professional and I am happy that I chose INKaholic for my first tattoo. I think it came out great! My wife got #9 while she was here as well! We’ll be back, thanks again guys!

Went here during vacation for my brother's wife and my wife so they could get tattoos they had planned here for a couple months. Then last minute my brother and I decided to get our own tattoos. I found a mermaid tattoo that I've been thinking of doing for a while and they took the picture and completely revamped it to exactly what I was looking for. 10/10 would recommend. The artist are top notch and very easy to work with.

Got a tattoo by the owner Sara on short notice and it was the highlight of my entire trip. She was super welcoming when I came in and the tattoo was perfecto!

While I don't have any tattoos, I greatly appreciate the sense of humor. Love the whimsical idea of the gumball tattoo machine. If I ever decide to get a tattoo, this little shop would have my business, especially after looking at photos others have posted...amazingly, beautiful art work.

Myself and my husband and several of our friends have visited this tattoo shop on each of our trips to the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres. We instantly connected with the owner Sarah and her colleagues. They all took excellent care of each and every one of us making all of us feel well taken care of. The shop is always extremely clean, organized and welcoming. We visit it one to two times per year and will always continue to return!

My wife and I just got tattoos at INKaholic and we love them. Saraí did my tattoo of a design I had wanted for a very long time. It turned out even better than I could have hoped. She sized it wonderfully and made sure it was perfectly done. Hugo did a fantastic design of an ocean wave joined with a crescent moon and beautiful coloring for my wife. We both have several other tattoos and appreciated the quality of the shop. We felt completely at ease there. Thank you Saraí and Hugo.
