We had such a nice stay at Inn Ajijic. We stayed in the Penthouse room and had a wonderful view of Ajijic, Lake Chapala and Parroquia de San Andres Apostol. The room was beautifully decorated. In addition to the large bed, there is a big seating area with a couch, love seat and chair in front of a fireplace. One of the perks is a buffet style cabinet containing a microwave, frigerator, dishes, glasses, silverware and coffee pot with real coffee. We were even presented with a gift basket which was so special. We were able to tour the other rooms and all the rooms are unique and have an authentic Mexican feel to them. Inn Ajijic is within walking distance to a pharmacy, bank, convenient stores and numerous restaurants (including Go Bistro which is downstairs from the room - we had a great meal there). Also in walking distance is the town of Ajijic and Lake Chapala. We enjoyed all the murals - every street has something beautiful and interesting painted on the walls. Close by is the town of Lake Chapala (10-15 minutes drive) which we had a nice time walking along the waterfront. The Guadalajara Airport was about 40 minutes away. We highly recommended visiting Ajijic and staying at Inn Ajijic.

Harold is the perfect host. Very helpful and accommodating. He left a welcome gift of local tequila and muffins. I stayed in the Queen Suite. It is beautifully decorated and really well equipped. The bed is super comfortable, and I had the best sleep I have had in a long time. The room overlooks a lush garden and is super quiet. It is quick walk to the main square and many great restaurants. I highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful Inn located in walking distance to everything Ajijic. We stayed in the Penthouse suite and it was heavenly. Being veterinarians, we absolutely loved the "vacero" theme. Suite was gorgeous with everything you could want. Check in was fast and easy. The owner Harold met us and showed us around the property. He was a gracious host and left us a welcome bottle of locally produced tequila, bag of papas (Mexican potato chips) and of course bottles of water and coffee for the morning. The bed plus bedding were all high quality and we slept like babies.The views from the room were incredible. Highly recommend this little paradise. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay in the Queen Suite! Inn Ajijic is perfectly located and walking distance to anything you need in Ajijic. Harold, the owner, was very helpful and available, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The restaurant below is lovely although we didn’t have a chance to eat there this trip. We especially enjoyed the bottle of local tequila with the room!

I spent a delightful long weekend with my wife at Inn Ajijic. We stayed in the Queen Suite. The decor was perfect, modern mixed with traditional Mexican. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds every morning outside our window! It was quiet and peaceful, even with a restaurant below. Perfect location, and the owner had great suggestions for bars and restaurants to try!
