Asimismo, es su misión contribuir a la solución de los problemas nacionales en el campo de la cultura.
La biblioteca es un lugar muy cómodo y propicio para el estudio, con un excelente acervo.
The Institute of Philological Research's main objective is to maintain, revalue and increase the cultivation of the humanities at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, from the philological perspective of the Greco-Roman, Hispanic and Amerindian languages, literatures and cultures, studied and understood with the rigor and methodology of the human sciences. It is also their mission to contribute to the solution of national problems in the field of culture.
The library is a very comfortable and conducive place for study, with an excellent collection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comparto la visión de Rodrigo del Instituto. Su biblioteca es preciosa, muy limpia, grande y silenciosa. Sus auditorios son muy bonitos. Su jardín es el más cuidado. La calidad de los diplomados, seminarios, coloquios, conferencias y eventos son muy buenos. El personal y los investigadores son muy amables con los alumnos y visitantes.
I share Rodrigo's vision of the Institute. His library is beautiful, very clean, large and silent. Their auditoriums are very pretty. Your garden is the most cared for. The quality of the diplomas, seminars, colloquia, conferences and events are very good. The staff and researchers are very friendly to students and visitors.
