They took good care of me, I went on a Tuesday about 30 minutes before they close and there was no queue, and the lady who gave me information was very kind and patient in answering my questions

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No entiendo para qué están ahí. Llegas y es posible que tengas que vocear para que te atienda alguien ya que puede que no haya nadie. Mesas sin papeles. No tienen competencia alguna en migración... O al menos eso dicen. No se ve a nadie trabajar, ni parecen mostrar interés alguno. La vaca del Estado.
I don't understand what they are there for. You arrive and you may have to shout for someone to attend you as there may be no one. Tables without papers. They have no competition whatsoever in migration ... Or so they say. No one is seen working, nor does they seem to show any interest. The state cow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nos costo un poco de trabajo llenar los formatos porque en la pagina de gobierno esta confuso, tuvimos que ir varias veces pero las chicas que trabajan ahi nos ayudaron en todos los tramites en ingles. Estoy satisfecha con el servicio es impecable a comparación con la atención de la cdmx, ahi si te tardan dias en entregarte tus docs.
It took us a bit of work to fill out the forms because the government page is confusing, we had to go several times but the girls who work there helped us with all the procedures in English. I am satisfied with the service, it is impeccable compared to the attention of the cdmx, there if it takes you days to deliver your docs.

Que pena que el servicio sea tan ineficiente y descortés en el municipio.
The staff of INM San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas. It does not fulfill the function of adequately informing the people that we request their support to answer our questions about immigration matters, in addition to having an unpleasant attitude.
Too bad that the service is so inefficient and rude in the municipality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fuimos a consultar información como turistas, y fue tremendo el mal trato de la encarga de la oficina de migraciones Licenciada Grajales Patricia, muy mal educada con nosotros que solo buscábamos información, como "Asesora de legales y turismo" nos trato muy mal, ni siquiera quería darnos su nombre porque sabia el mal trato que nos estaba dando, es una lastima que funcionarios públicos de ese rango traten tan mal a las personas. Pésima predisposición de todos, hasta se burlaban de nosotros por ser extranjeros hablando entre ellos.

Esta fue la primera visita que disfruté en cualquier oficina de inmigración en la que estuve en México. Sigan con el buen trabajo.
I recently visited this office to get information and update my status with immigration. They were very friendly and everything was done in one visit without any hassle. This was the first visit that I enjoyed at any immigration office I have been to in Mexico. Keep up the good work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soy mexicano y funcionario público en sector educativo, recientemente estuve haciendo acompañamiento a una persona migrante aquí en INM San Cristóbal.
Qué lástima y qué pena me dio el trato que se da en este lugar. Es inaceptable. Una mujer en particular llena de prejuicios insinuando que México les hace un favor a las personas migrantes o que buscan refugio.
Simplemente es inaceptable. Sin duda seguiré buscando la forma de que Secretaría de la Función Pública preste atención a este tipo de malos tratos, más aún en un estado fronterizo en el cual, por supuesto, hay una gran cantidad de inmigrantes. Si no van a hacer un trabajo digno e imparcial, que abandonen la función pública y se dediquen a otra cosa.
