★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always semi disorganized, several coyotes slip in with several of their clients at a time, making it so the queue is soo slow. The good, of recent, is that they removed much of the seating inside, and ribbons separate the line ups. Further, there is a sign in process at entry, somewhat like a triage, sending each to the appropriate line inside. For those with fingerprinting appointments, make sure the date they assigned you is not a holiday. It happened with us. For appointments, you bypass the line up outside , show your appointment doc at the door, and you get right in. Today was our best experience so far, despite their holiday appointment blunder...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible place. Have been in 4 times and nothing is done. Can't make payments there. They make you run back and forth to a specific bank to make multiple payments just to get a basic thing done which they break in to 3 fees that can't all be paid at once. Hell on Earth. Avoid at all costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived and was given a 2 week visa despite asking for 3. Went to "extend" the tourist visa - prepared pictures, proof of funds, passports, etc. all ready. Lady took 10 minute breaks between seeing people. When I got to the her she said "Due to covid, it's impossible to extend a tourist visa." ...even if you have a long term rental ready signed. Anyone else get this? Now in Mexico you CANNOT extend a tourist visa by even a month? Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were super helpful, the only problem is that they would give you partial information and so we had to do 5 trips when everything could have been done in 2 because of the lack of information they give you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am hearing from the experience of extended family -- very good people badly mistreated by Can Cun airport immigration workers -- and from reading the reviews here, some very unfortunate things.
So while in the end, God will have His way. As He will set all crooked people and situations straight.
In the meantime, this Can Cun immigration department casts a bad light on an already struggling country.
Which is too bad, because no one wants to waste money and entrust themselves and their loved ones to a place so incompetent, so lacking in human empathy, and so corrupt.
As a result, I know that I am not alone in cancelling any travel plans to Can Cun, and similar people will do the same.
Also, any and all business dealings with Mexico will be suspended until proven trustworthy and reliable -- which right now, unfortunately, they are not.
Get your act together Can Cun airport and immigration, before costing your country and good local citizens tons more money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This office is horrible and most of the people are not kind and helpful. We had a lot of problems with our immigration. The bank made an error and after coming to immigration three times in one day, we had to return again the next day. And it was not our fault! It was the bank's fault. But because it was a few minutes after 2:30 the office refused to help us. They don't care. It's 9 to 2:30 and they are done. If they were trying to legally immigrate into the US they would appreciate some compassion and kindness. And they would be upset if they were treated rudely, as we were. Terrible experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need a temporary residency renewal or any similar appointment, you have to arrive at least 3 or 4 hours before they open for a CHANCE. They do not organize the line, and even if you were an hour earlier than other people, they'll randomly let others pass. This location is the definition of poor service. Prepare to waste multiple days coming here for one small document update.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place with an extreme level of corruption. They send you to pay a fee, and then you have to wait a month for a new appointment; by which time the fee quantity changed, according to them, and the process has to be done again, endlessly. They do nothing but obstruct and extort, and this place is a government protected monopoly that abuses its captive customers.
