Excessive bureaucracy and it takes several hours to attend. On this occasion, I just came to ask about the requirements for the replacement of my resident card and of course they made me wait as if I was doing the procedure in question ... The information on the page does not match the guidelines of the office, they do not answer the phones, I do not understand why they do not make things simpler to speed up the procedures ... I just needed to know what to bring!

Mostly always a queue. Small office but they are good to work with. The key is to have all your paperwork in order first to avoid problems. There are English speakers here.

(1) Use an immigration service company like Lex360 to do all the paperwork, appointments, and in-person representation (2) Get the 0900am first appointment and show up at 0800 as waiting area usually setup outside between 0815 and 0830 (3) Tell attendant when handing you clipboard you're there for Residente Permanente o Temporales depending on which you're getting and write "cita @ 9:00" (4) Immigration service went in, called me about 10 minutes later, did fingerprints and photos and out in 15 minutes The staff is amazingly pleasant and professional and very helpful. Being in a bureaucratic office in a foreign country imagine how those feel in your home country trying to obtain a driver's license or other life line service. Compared to the experiences I've had at US DMV or Tax Bureau the INM was amazingly easy.
