IPICYT is a multi and interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to the study of strategic problems for the development of the region, San Luis Potosí México. It has 5 research areas, molecular biology, environmental sciences, applied geosciences, applied mathematics and advanced materials. It has three national laboratories, which are The National Center for Supercomputing, the National Laboratory for Agricultural, Medical and Environmental Biotechnology and the National Laboratory for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Research. All those who study there are scholarships and all researchers are nationally and internationally recognized scientists.
