★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After all my research leading up to my holiday, and finding places that I wanted to visit, I wanted to make sure to visit Insu because of the photos and reviews. When the time came, four of us walked for a half hour with enough time to try and get a table and enjoy the sunset. Reservations, we were told, were not accepted.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we were told that the restaurant was closed to the public. Only open to resort guests apparently, and we were turned away.
Hugely disappointed.

Service = 4 star (nice staff)
Food = 2 star (and thats generous). We ordered 10 dishes. All were meh. Possibly worst tacos in all of mexico, and the price to value is just off. Cocktails are good. Bottom line: come for the drinks, not for the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This spot had an amazing view of the bay, it was beautiful to watch the sunset. They offer a variety of tapas to choose from, which were perfect for sharing and trying a couple different things.
We loved the scallops with plantain.
