La Avenida de los Insurgentes es una de las más importantes arterias de la Ciudad de México y la única que atraviesa la Ciudad de norte a sur. Al norte, esta avenida se convierte en la carretera que conduce al estado de Hidalgo. Al sur, en la carretera que conduce al estado de Morelos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the busiest stations I've been through, and it could use a major facelift after so many decades in operation. The roundabout (or plaza) it's located under could also use with some major improvement even though it was remodelled a few years ago - this because it could be way greener and more appealing to visitors than it currently is. That said, the access to the subway is efficient and its outside connection to Metrobus Line 1 make it a good way to move around.
