Great resort. Not all inclusive. Laid back, beautiful private beach, nice pool and jacuzzi. My room has ocean view from the main room and from the large jacuzzi tub. Ernesto at check in was great. Restaurants are good. The hotel has a Scandinavian relax vibe.

Gorgeous resort with great amenities. Any time people found out we were staying at the presidente they would say it is known that it's the only 5 star resort on the island. There are four restaurants on site which are great, but costly. Much cheaper (and comparably as yummy) to get food in the city area. The staff are friendly and always say hello. Our view of the ocean and private beach area is amazing! If we come back the the island, we will stay here because it is so safe, clean, and private.

We arrived at the hotel with excitement and trepidation as this was our first vacation in a couple of years due to COVID. Every aspect of the hotel exemplified safety and precautions without interfering with the guest experience. The food was exquisite, the kids activities and pool were a hit with our kids. The snorkeling and water activities on the beach were safe and exciting. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great resort. You could stay and never leave to see the rest of the island (but DO see the rest). Boats leave there for scuba and snorkeling (need 4 or more in a party). 4 restaurants there. They serve you on the beach. They have a nice little private beach/ cove. They have entry on either side of that cove for snorkeling and swimming. They rent wave runners. The staff is great! Secluded entry - they control who comes in. Certainly planning on coming back! Only negative i could think of - not cheap (but a great deal for what you're getting) and you may encounter a few entitled American tourists. That's trying to think of negatives.

This is my second time staying here at the Presidente and I love it here. The property is beautiful and offers everything. I come down here to scuba dive, read and write solo. The dive shop, Scuba Du, is the best. The team they have working there is incredible and it’s a pleasure to go out on the boat with them daily. They make my life so easy, really all I have to do is show up. But first I have the amazing complimentary breakfast at El Caribeño, which is the best I’ve ever encountered. The hotel staff is fantastic, super accommodating, friendly and very helpful. I get to watch the sunset from a choice of 4 restaurants, but I like listening to Antonio the guitar player when he is at El Caribeño. The spa is beautiful as well. I love taking full advantage of the gym, which has a lovely garden view. I enjoy my stays here, not only because of all this, but also because it is a relatively quiet property. It is the perfect place to enjoy Cozumel. I have been very happy with everything here, especially the safety protocols. Treat yourself, enjoy world class diving and service It’s worth it.

Incredible stay! We had an ocean view room that was right next to the reef. There was a private balcony where we would sit in the morning and afternoon. The grounds were beautiful. There are multiple private beaches and it's very easy to swim and snorkel only steps away from your room. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety. All staff were great. Booking snorkeling through Scub Du was a little confusing because they would cancel and if you didn't check in with them it would be hard to know that plans had changed, but overall very nice.

Though aging, this resort is still an amazing place to visit. The beach and snorkeling areas are as good as most places on Cozumel, which is saying a lot! It's close to town, but not too close to the crazy! The staff is very friendly and do great work. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. We rented a car but could have saved money by just taking a taxi when we wanted to go somewhere. I would love to come back.

This was my fourth or fifth stay at the Presidente and it was everything I expected. As always the room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Probably more space then needed for one person but it was great (had a beachfront King on the north side of the resort). The snorkeling is excellent...just go down the stairs into the water and many fish and corals to admire in crystal clear water! The staff was exceptional as always. Due to Covid I hadn't been in three years, was so good to see the many familiar staff members still there....and some remembered me as well! The ceviche is amazing.....many other good choices as well. Margarita's at Le Cap was a great sunset event. I definitely look forward to retuning again!!
