Very clean and volunteer very nice and friendly. Gave us stools to sit on. We walked a dog also. Please donate when there. They need our help!

We were so happy to stop in and support this place & their efforts! They welcomed us, taking the time to allow us in to interact with all of the dogs, and sharing information on each & every dog’s journey. We played with the dogs, snuggled with puppies, and even walked a few of the more active dogs outside. The staff, nearly all volunteer, have our absolute respect. We were happy to show our support, donate through their paypal account, and hope you will also. In our opinion, Isla Animals could/should be listed as one of the most enjoyable & fulfilling excursions of the island!

Amazing team here for Pet Recuse, this team is so dedicated to getting animals the help they need for a better life! Cecilia and Alex are amazing people! Glad to have met them while visiting Mexico, was hoping we could help more while we were there. They had the most adorable litter of pups, I was adorably puppy mauled by 6 pups while I was there, definitely an experience I will remember! Thank you Isla Animals!

First time to visit here. Omg puppies! Way too cute. Puppy breath.?. A great place to adopt a living fur baby. You can visit and walk the dogs. Give donations and buy tshirts.

Since we are local supporters of our hometown animal shelter, we wanted to engage and support Isla Animals while visiting the island. We arrived mid-morning and offered to take two young medium-sized dogs (Bailey and Mayallo) for an enjoyable walk down the beach about 3/4 mile away. The dogs loved the time out and the sand, while we got to enjoy their company having left our two dogs behind at home. If you read up on the shelter they seem to be successful at rehoming these dogs with island visitors and Bailey and Mayallo are headed to Canada in several weeks! The lady working at the shelter was a joy to speak with and you could see her passion for caring for the dogs. We were also fortunate to support a raffle the shelter was having to raise funds and win two discount dinners at local restaurants. All around a great experience supporting Isla Animals, the staff, and dogs in their care.

They welcome volunteers to walk dogs, they had mostly puppies during our visit. So only 2 needed walking, but I was able to play with the puppies inside. They do great work and we donated while we were there. You can find them on Facebook if you want to donate!
